Listen, O mind, to the Unspoken Speech of the Lord's Name.

ridhh budhh sidhh sukh paavehi bhaj guramath har raam raam ||1|| rehaao ||
Riches, wisdom, supernatural spiritual powers and peace are obtained, by vibrating, meditating on the Lord God, under Guru's Instruction. ||1||Pause||

naanaa khiaan puraan jas ootham khatt dharasan gaavehi raam ||
Numerous legends, the Puraanas, and the six Shaastras, sing the sublime Praises of the Lord.

sa(n)kar krorr thaethees dhhiaaeiou nehee jaaniou har maramaam ||1||
Shiva and the three hundred thirty million gods meditate on the Lord, but they do not know the secret of His mystery. ||1||

sur nar gan ga(n)dhhrab jas gaavehi sabh gaavath jaeth oupaam ||
The angelic and divine beings, and the celestial singers sing His Praises; all Creation sings of Him.

naanak kirapaa karee har jin ko thae sa(n)th bhalae har raam ||2||1||
O Nanak, those whom the Lord blesses with His Kind Mercy, become the good Saints of the Lord God. ||2||1||

O mind, those who meet the Lord's humble servants, sing His Praises.

hir hir rqnu rqnu hir nIko guir siqguir dwnu idvwieE ]1] rhwau ]
har har rathan rathan har neeko gur sathigur dhaan dhivaaeiou ||1|| rehaao ||
They are blessed with the gift of the jewel of the Lord, Har, Har, the sublime jewel of the Lord, by the Guru, the True Guru. ||1||Pause||

iqsu jn kau mnu qnu sBu dyvau ijin hir hir nwmu sunwieE ]
this jan ko man than sabh dhaevo jin har har naam sunaaeiou ||
I offer my mind, body and everything to that humble being who recites the Name of the Lord, Har, Har.

Dnu mwieAw sMpY iqsu dyvau ijin hir mIqu imlwieE ]1]
dhhan maaeiaa sa(n)pai this dhaevo jin har meeth milaaeiou ||1||
I offer my wealth, the riches of Maya and my property to that one who leads me to meet the Lord, my friend. ||1||

iKnu ikMicq ik®pw krI jgdIsir qb hir hir hir jsu iDAwieE ]
khin ki(n)chith kirapaa karee jagadheesar thab har har har jas dhhiaaeiou ||
When the Lord of the world bestowed just a tiny bit of His Mercy, for just an instant, then I meditated on the Praise of the Lord, Har, Har, Har.

jan naanak ko har bhaettae suaamee dhukh houmai rog gavaaeiou ||2||2||
The Lord and Master has met servant Nanak, and the pain of the sickness of egotism has been eliminated. ||2||2||

hir jnu rwm nwm gun gwvY ]
har jan raam naam gun gaavai ||
The Lord's humble servant sings the Glorious Praises of the Lord's Name.

jy koeI inMd kry hir jn kI Apunw gunu n gvwvY ]1] rhwau ]
jae koee ni(n)dh karae har jan kee apunaa gun n gavaavai ||1|| rehaao ||
Even if someone slanders the Lord's humble servant, he does not give up his own goodness. ||1||Pause||

jo ikCu kry su Awpy suAwmI hir Awpy kwr kmwvY ]
jo kishh karae s aapae suaamee har aapae kaar kamaavai ||
Whatever the Lord and Master does, He does by Himself; the Lord Himself does the deeds.

hir Awpy hI miq dyvY suAwmI hir Awpy boil bulwvY ]1]
har aapae hee math dhaevai suaamee har aapae bol bulaavai ||1||
The Lord and Master Himself imparts understanding; the Lord Himself inspires us to speak. ||1||
